Overview

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment, known for outstanding patient care. The facility has 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms, and four ICU rooms, designed to provide a comforting, innovative, efficient, and patient-centered environment. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path connecting to Millennium Park.

The MRI department is a highly specialized, full-service department committed to meeting all patient and clinician needs in diagnostic imaging.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, including quality control.

Responsibilities

1. Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
2. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
