Overview

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital provides specialized surgical and medical services in a welcoming environment, renowned for excellent patient care. The facility features 64 private rooms, 14 operating rooms, and four ICU rooms, designed for comfort, efficiency, and patient-centered care. The campus includes scenic landscaping and walking paths connecting to Millennium Park.

The MRI department at Barnes Jewish West County Hospital is a full-service, highly specialized unit dedicated to meeting diagnostic imaging needs for patients and clinicians.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures across various advanced modalities (such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, during on-call hours, portable exams, and as required at different sites.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Associate degree or Trade School equivalent

Experience

• No experience required

Supervisor Experience

• No experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• IEMA - Illinois only, excluding MRI
• RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Requirements
