Overview

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers specialized surgical and medical services in a patient-centered environment. Featuring 64 private rooms, 14 operating rooms, and four ICU rooms, the hospital is designed for comfort, efficiency, and innovation. The campus includes a park-like setting with landscaping and walking paths connecting to Millennium Park.

The MRI Department at Barnes Jewish West County is a full-service, highly specialized department aiming to meet all diagnostic imaging needs for patients and clinicians.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose:

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, and Cardiac Catheterization on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patients and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, including on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent

Experience: No experience required

Supervisor Experience: No experience required

Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Requirements

Experience: Less than 2 years

Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy
