Mountain View Hospital in Utah is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging department as a PRN. You will perform MRI examinations on patients of all ages under physician direction, using advanced technical knowledge and a patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes independent work, with collaboration among staff and students, and requires ARRT-MR certification and an associate degree. BLS within 30 days is required. Mountain View offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-MR certification for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Associate Degree or equivalent.
• Graduation from a vocational school.

Responsibilities

• Under physician direction, perform MRI examinations for patients of all ages using advanced technical knowledge.
• Operate with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment and initiative.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of MRI equipment and collaborate with students and staff.
• Assess patient needs and provide appropriate care and interpretation of information.

• Under the direction of a physician, you willperformMRI(magnetic resonance imaging) examination to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician using advanced technical knowledge.

• You will be expected to perform all responsibilities withminimal supervision, and thelatitude for independent judgment,ingenuityand initiative.

• You willbe responsible foradvanced knowledge of the complexities of MRI equipment,examinationsand working with students, staff teaching MRI technology.

• You willbe responsible forthe assessment; treatment/care for all patients, which includes ability to interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs and understanding of the range of treatment needed.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
