Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform MRI imaging procedures, assist with department operations and ensure high-quality patient care in a diagnostic environment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with ARRT-MR registration or eligibility, ARRT-R registration eligibility, and BLS certification within 30 days of start. One year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current ARRT-MR registration or registry eligibility; must be registered within 6 months.
• Current ARRT-R registration or registry eligibility.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• One-year imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Maintain day-to-day department operations, ensuring quality patient care.
• Support growth, development and age-specific patient care across life span.

Education

Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program

ARRT-MR current registration or registry eligible. Must be registered within 6 month.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. MRI Technologist are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will assist the MRI Supervisor day-to-day operation of the department keeping in mind and balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement and exceptional care for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.
• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs.
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program

Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
