Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Imaging Technologist to operate imaging equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, and support Radiologists. The role requires ARRT certification, Montana licensure or eligibility, and ability to manage patient safety and records.

The position is full-time at St James Hospital in Montana with 36 hours weekly, shift rotations, potential on-call, and adherence to privacy and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Non CertifiedRequired: Associate’s degree (AA) or diploma from a two-year college or technical school or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• ARRT (R) and Additional Certification in at least one other modality within 18 months of hire; BLS.
• Current Montana Licensure or eligibility to obtain; ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific/technical journals.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment to produce quality images under Radiologist direction.
• Position patient and utilize immobilization devices for safety and optimal views.
• Administer contrast media as per Radiologist/Pharmacy guidelines; monitor patient during procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA privacy; input physician orders and follow hospital policies.
• May float to other departments within competency and may be on-call during shifts.
