Vetted Solutions seeks an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring accurate imaging data and strict adherence to safety protocols. The role involves patient preparation, protocol optimization, and collaboration with licensed practitioners.

The successful candidate will educate students and healthcare staff, apply ALARA principles, and participate in quality improvement activities within a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR, ARMRIT, or NMTCB certification (with ARRT-MR or equivalent)
• Graduate of a radiologic technology specialty program; bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong MRI safety, procedures, and patient care knowledge

Responsibilities

• Obtain accurate patient information and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and optimize imaging factors.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and document activities.
• Assist with MR interventional procedures and support licensed practitioners.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, contributing to safety and quality improvements.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and participate in quality improvement.
