Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI procedures and support physicians in diagnosis. You will prepare patients, position them for imaging, and maintain imaging quality in a fast-paced clinical setting. Strong safety practices and patient communication are essential.

The role requires ARRT MR/R credentials, BLS, and state licensing where applicable, with a focus on accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with radiologists and care teams.

Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma from an accredited MRI program or Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
  • ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT certification required.
  • State Radiologic Technologist license (where applicable).
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Venipuncture certification required or preferred based on state regulations.
  • Fluoroscopy license preferred where applicable.
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety practices, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Administer and monitor contrast media in accordance with facility policies and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
  • Review and verify image quality before submission for physician interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records within the EMR system.
  • Follow MRI safety standards, infection prevention practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and provide clear pre‑ and post‑examination instructions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
