Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging to support accurate diagnoses and treatments. You will independently conduct MRI procedures, prepare and administer medications per regulations, and analyze imaging data for accuracy and quality.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB certification required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to perform MRI procedures independently with a focus on safety, quality, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper preparation, and maintain confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols and optimize technical factors, prioritizing patient safety using ALARA principles.
• Evaluate images for quality, verify data transfer, and assist with MR interventions.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols and demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex duties.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and uphold organizational priorities.
