Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved radiologic technology graduate.
• Specific MRI training.
• 1–5 years MRI experience.
• Registered ARRT.
• Texas license as Medical Radiologic Technologist - General.
• ARRT/NMCRT MRI certification.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures under radiologist direction.
• Maintain high technical detail and accuracy in imaging.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative in procedures.
• Prioritize patient safety and quality imaging.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Specific Training in Magnetic Resonance Technology

One to five years experience specific to MRI

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - General License.

ARRT and/or NMCRT certification in MRI.

CPR certified
