Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in the Puget Sound region is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment at St. Elizabeth Hospital and to ensure patient safety while producing high-quality diagnostic images.

You will apply your knowledge of anatomy, physics, and advanced scanning protocols, mentor staff, and uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance in daily practice.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) or RTMR certification upon hire.
• WA Medical Radiographer license and BLS-CPR certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and perform MRI procedures according to physician orders.
• Verify patient safety through pre-screening and position patients for optimal image quality.
• Maintain records, manage PACS, and assist with clinical workflows.
• Provide mentorship, ensure equipment integrity, and follow safety protocols.
