Qualifications

• MR certifications: ARRT/ARMRIT MR, or NMTCB MR at hire.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Knowledge of MRI procedures, safety, patient care, and data evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient information and prepare patients for exams.
• Utilize imaging protocols and apply ALARA principles.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for positioning and quality; post-processing as needed.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Select pulse sequences per established protocols.
• Apply safety principles to minimize risks to patients and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
