Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist is required.
• 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) license is required.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI studies following established protocols.
• Operate the MRI scanner to produce quality images.
• Prepare the scan room and equipment appropriately.
• Position the patient, coils, and equipment as required.
• Maintain communication with the patient throughout the procedure.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Non‑degree program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program
