Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations under supervision, following established protocols for diverse patient populations. The role ensures patient safety, accurate screening, and image verification to support physician interpretation.

Candidate must graduate from an accredited imaging program, be ARRT MRI registry eligible (registration within 1 year), and maintain BLS certification.

Formación

• Graduated from an accredited school of imaging.
• ARRT MRI registry eligible; must obtain MRI registration within 1 year of hire.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols.
• Completes patient screening, exam documentation, and image verification in RIS and PACS.
• Maintains image quality, productivity, and efficient workflow.
• Provides safe, compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
• Supports onboarding and training of staff and students.
• Adheres to MRI safety requirements and zone protocols.
