Job summary

Northwell is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate MRI and related imaging equipment, prepare patients, and maintain imaging records. The role requires state licensure, ARRT registration, and at least one year of radiologic experience.

You will ensure proper exposure, patient safety, and accurate documentation throughout exams. Responsibilities include patient prep, imaging, labeling, and data entry, with adherence to department SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State and/or Connecticut licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT registration.
• Minimum of one year experience performing radiologic exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam and translate procedure into lay terms.
• Perform radiologic exams and position patient according to SOP.
• Adjust x-ray equipment and obtain correct exposure; monitor patient condition.
• Label images, ensure correct laterality, and maintain records.
• Enter exam data into daily log and complete tracking steps.
• Perform related duties as required.
