Job summary

Requirements include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification on hire, completion of an accredited MRI program, and ongoing CEUs. Venipuncture and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a licensed Radiologic Technologist or 0+ years with ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT license.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program.
• Complete required CEUs to maintain certification and licensure.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required upon hire; venipuncture and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams, ensuring accurate positioning and protocol compliance.
• Provide patient care consistent with MRI safety and comfort standards.
• Screen patients and staff for MRI safety per departmental policy.
• Develop proficiency with MRI workflow, scanner operation and contrast administration.
• Demonstrate and maintain competency in all assigned equipment and procedures.
