Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into position, and adjusting exposure factors.
• Minimizes radiation exposure by applying protection techniques, shielding, and proper exposure settings.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
• Keeps professional knowledge up to date with continuing education.
