Job summary

Mercy Health at Anderson Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, ensure safety, and support education of students and staff. The role requires handling imaging equipment, coordinating with radiologists, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The ideal candidate has ARRT MRI registry, BLS certification, and the ability to tailor imaging protocols to patient needs. Training opportunities and a collaborative team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• MRI registry (ARRT or equivalent)
• BLS certification
• State licensure preferred
• Experience in MRI department (1 year preferred)
• Training/education of students and staff

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI system and coils per protocol
• Ensure patient safety and monitoring during procedures
• Position patient and input exam parameters
• Administer contrast agents and injections as required
• Maintain QC and equipment performance
• Participate in student training and onboarding
• Collaborate with physicians and radiology staff
