Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners, explain procedures to patients, and place them correctly for imaging. You will document studies, maintain scanner and protocol knowledge, and support training of new staff and students to ensure high-quality results.

Qualified candidates are ARRT MR registered, with BLS, and a radiologic technology education background. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registry).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course as specified in policy.
• Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure.
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout and respond to needs as appropriate.
• Complete documentation for each study performed.
• Maintain knowledge of scanners and exam protocols to ensure quality procedures.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff and teaching students.
• Possess professional discernment and critical thinking during procedures.
