Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is hiring an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality images for diagnosis. You will interview patients, explain the procedure, position them, and ensure safety and comfort while maintaining patient records and adherence to protocols.

Qualified candidates are ARRT MR registered with BLS, graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and have or are pursuing MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Must be registered MRI technologist (ARRT MR) and current BLS.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum one year MRI imaging department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for MRI exams per procedure type.
• Perform MRI procedures and monitor patient comfort during scans.
• Complete documentation for each study and maintain protocol knowledge.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff and students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MRI scanners and protocols.
