Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform imaging procedures with a strong emphasis on patient safety and care. You will prepare patients, position them for MRI scans, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.

Responsibilities include neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans, IV contrast administration, data entry, quality control, and collaboration with physicians to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology training program.
• Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent is required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Ability to perform imaging procedures accurately and safely.
• Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and image identification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI exams, explain procedures, and answer questions.
• Perform neuro, body, and extremity MRI scans following radiologist protocols.
• Administer IV contrast and perform venous access as needed.
• Enter data into imaging systems and process images.
• Identify anatomy on images and conduct equipment quality control tests.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate supply orders.
• Provide radiological support to physicians and act as a liaison.
