Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures with emphasis on patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification, and at least 2 years of hospital MRI experience with current BLS. You will work day shifts and collaborate closely with radiologists and the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ,
• ARRT certification (RT) with MRI specialization (ARRT-MR) or ARMRIT certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based MRI experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures using established protocols to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, prioritizing comfort and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and adjust parameters for optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Administer contrast media per protocols and physician instructions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Maintain detailed patient records and documentation within EMR/PACS.
• Follow safety guidelines, infection control policies, and regulatory requirements.
