Prisma Health is seeking a Radiology MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging and optimal patient care across all ages. Responsibilities include magnet safety checks for zone 3 and 4 and coordination with radiologists for timely interpretations.

The role requires ARRT/MRI certification or ARMRIT, BLS, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Weekend shifts are required at Richland Hospital, with patient safety and accurate data entry

Qualifikationen

• ARRT or MRI certification as required (or ARMRIT)
• BLS certification or equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Aufgaben

• Operates MRI equipment independently to produce high-quality images
• Screen patients and ensure magnet safety for zone 3 and 4
• Position patients, select coils, and follow scanning protocols
• Communicate with patients and staff about safety and delays
• Prepare scan room and maintain supplies and linen
• Administer contrast materials as prescribed
• Perform department computer data entry accurately
• Maintain quality control on equipment and procedures
• Stay updated with departmental changes and check emails on shift
• Provide clinical instruction and assist with staff scheduling as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
