Job summary

Prisma Health in Greer is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality imaging for patients of all ages. You will screen for magnet safety, properly position patients, and coordinate with radiologists for prompt interpretation.

The role requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT, and BLS certifications, with evening shift availability in a patient-centered hospital setting within Prisma Health.

Qualifications

• Education - Certification Program and Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• Licensing: ARRT/MRI or ARMRIT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Screen patients and staff for magnet safety in zone 3 and 4.
• Position patients properly and select appropriate coils and protocols.
• Ensure timely completion of imaging studies and radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain room readiness, supplies, and infection control practices.
• Document data accurately in hospital computer systems.
• Provide clinical instruction to staff technologists and students as needed.
