Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Radiologic Technology MR technologist to perform MRI scans under the direction of the Radiologist at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. You will communicate with physicians and staff, ensure patient safety, and prepare patients and rooms for imaging procedures.

This role requires ARRT MRI/ Radiology certification or ARMRIT certification with appropriate registrations within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Certification program completed and graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology registration and ARRT MRI registration within one year of hire; OR ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR scanning as directed by Radiologist and communicates with physician and staff.
• Ensures proper patient identification, safety screening, and history for magnet safety and sedation needs.
• Prepares scan room, handles contrast materials per protocol, and adheres to approved cleaning and supply protocols.
• Operates and maintains equipment with quality control to meet standards; respects delays and patient communication.
• Documents data entry and computer functions related to the department; supports daily workflow and staffing as needed.
