Temple Health is hiring a STAFF MRI TECHNOLOGIST for the FOX CHASE CANCER CENTER pool with a rotating day shift. The role requires performing MRI studies per radiologist protocols, ensuring high-quality images, and preparing the scan room and equipment.

You will position patients and maintain communication throughout the procedure. Required education includes a High School Diploma or equivalent and an AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Non Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program is required.
• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist is required.
• 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) is required.
• Basic Life Support is required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
