Temple Health is seeking a Staff MRI Technologist for the full-time evening shift at Fox Chase Cancer Center. You will operate the MRI scanner, follow radiologist protocols, prepare the scan room and position patients and coils to produce high-quality images.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an AMA-approved radiologic technology program or MRI certificate, and is licensed as a Radiologic Technologist (MR).

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Non-degree AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist required.
• 1 year MRI Technologist experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
