Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of a non-degree program in Radiologic Technology or MRI certification is required.
• 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is essential.
• 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist is preferred.
• Registration as a Technologist (R) (MR) and Basic Life Support certification are required.

Staff MRI Technologist – Pool – Fox Chase Cancer Center (261402)

Performs MRI studies following the set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent, optimal quality. Prepares the scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions the patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non‑degree program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist Preferred

Licenses

• Reg Technologist (R) (MR) Required
• Basic Life Support Required
