Role And Responsibilities

The MRI Technologist provides high-quality MRI imaging following physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include preparing the MRI room, operating equipment per safety standards, processing images, and maintaining supplies and equipment. They perform diagnostic tests, position patients appropriately, evaluate image quality, and provide patient education across all age groups. The role involves delivering excellent customer service, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Technologists monitor patient conditions, respond to contrast reactions, and adhere to safety and infection control policies. They accurately input patient data into the computer system, verify patient identification, and document procedures properly. Additional duties include participating in team communication, maintaining a clean workspace, and following regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications And Skills
