Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming, while communicating with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training or MRI Technologist Training, Washington Radiologic Technologist certification, and BLS. National certification in MRI is required.

Job description

Role Overview

This position is responsible for performing MRI procedures, including setup, scanning, and filming, while maintaining communication with radiologists, physicians, patients, and families.

Key Duties

Operate and maintain MRI and auxiliary equipment, perform contrast injections, conduct quality control and reporting tasks, manage daily schedules, and assist radiologists. On-call responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technologist Training or MRI Technologist Training. Certification as a Washington Radiologic Technologist and current BLS certification are mandatory. Must be nationally registered or certified in MRI technology.

Preferred Skills & Experience

At least 2 years of MRI or imaging experience in a sub-specialty setting is preferred.
