Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce high-quality diagnostic MRI images. Candidates should have a radiography or MRI program certificate/degree and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office or Google Suite is preferred.

ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 9 months of starting, and BLS/HCP certification within 60 days are required. This role involves working in a hospital imaging department in New Jersey.

Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic images using MRI technology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
