Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a certificate/degree from an accredited radiography or MRI program, with ARRT MR or ARMRIT within 9 months. Excellent communication and computer skills are essential.

A minimum of one year of MRI experience is preferred. Position is on site in New Jersey. ARRT MR or ARMRIT licensure within 9 months and BLS within 60 days are required; regular interaction

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images using MRI technology.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Radiography or MRI programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of MRI experience.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, MR) or ARMRIT within 9 months of entering position
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
