Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using MRI equipment, following established protocols and safety practices. You will independently conduct MRI procedures, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and analyze acquired data to support accurate diagnoses.

You will obtain orders, verify patient Identity, maintain confidentiality, and ensure ALARA principles guide all imaging.

Qualifications

• Certification required: ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Commitment to safety, technical proficiency, and aligning with organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients properly, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access, monitor images for quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and supervise students and healthcare providers, and assist with MRI interventional procedures.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors, demonstrating full proficiency in routine and complex duties.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety principles to minimize risks.
