Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. The role emphasizes accurate protocol selection, patient identification, and maintaining ALARA principles to ensure safety and image quality.

The candidate should be certified by ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB with ARRT-MR or equivalent, and may hold a specialty radiologic technology program with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Obtain orders, verify identity, select imaging protocols and optimize factors with ALARA while prioritizing patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and assist with interventional procedures.
• Educate and monitor learners, adhere to safety protocols, participate in quality improvement activities.

Job description

Role:

MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.

Key Duties:

• Obtain correct patient orders, ensure proper identification and preparation, select appropriate imaging protocols, and optimize technical factors while prioritizing patient safety and applying ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR, or equivalent; graduate from a specialty radiologic technology program; preferred bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated proficiency in routine and complex duties, strong understanding of safety protocols, and ability to apply principles of magnetic resonance imaging.
