Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist in the United States to perform routine and complex MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and document data accurately. You will support interventional imaging and contribute to ongoing education for staff and students.

The role requires ARRT certification (R or MR) or NMTCB, completion of a Radiologic Technology specialty program, and a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or NMTCB required upon hire.
• Graduate of Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to perform routine and complex MRI procedures with commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify patients, prepare for exams, and document clinical history confidentially.
• Use imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Evaluate images for quality and manage data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Assist with MRI interventional procedures and perform MRI scans as prescribed.
• Select pulse sequences considering protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency in all duties.

Role Overview:

MRI Technologists utilize radiofrequencies within magnetic fields for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform MRI procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis, and assist licensed practitioners. They prepare, administer, and document medications following legal and institutional policies.
