Lourdes Health in Pasco, WA is hiring an MRI Technologist to join the Radiology team. The role involves educating patients about procedures, preparing and administering contrast as needed, monitoring patient status, and performing imaging with a focus on image quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has ARRT/ NMTCB/JRCERT or ARMRIT certifications and an associate degree (preferred). BLS-HCP is required, with registry in MR or related modalities within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT/JRCERT/ARMRIT/NMTCB registry in Radiology, MR, or related field required or within 1 year of hire/transfer
• Education: ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or MR
• BLS-HCP certification required

Responsibilities

• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams for understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures with safety and accuracy.
• Maintains image quality by adjusting parameters and repositioning as needed.
