Job summary

Advanced Imaging Concepts is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Brooksville, FL team. You will perform MRI scans, prepare patients, and ensure comfort and safety throughout procedures.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff to ensure accurate image interpretation and maintain comprehensive imaging records in a regulated environment. ARRT certification and Florida licensure are required, with MRI experience preferred. BLS/CPR certification is required or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI is required.
• Current Florida licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• Previous MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and contrast protocols.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative imaging team.
• BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Screen patients for contraindications and obtain relevant medical history prior to scanning
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety screening and infection control procedures
