Advanced Imaging Concepts in Brooksville, FL is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. Perform high-quality MRI scans, position patients, and ensure comfort and safety during procedures in a dynamic imaging environment.

ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI is required, Florida licensure or eligibility, BLS/CPR, and prior MRI experience preferred. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff while maintaining accurate imaging records.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR) required.
• Current Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Previous MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and contrast protocols.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with protocols and orders.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during MRI procedures.
• Screen patients for contraindications and obtain medical history.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment and report technical issues.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff for accurate image interpretation.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation per standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols including MRI screening and infection control.

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Screen patients for contraindications and obtain relevant medical history prior to scanning
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety screening and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR) required
