Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Brooksville is seeking an experienced MRI Tech 3 to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic films. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in an MRI diagnostic imaging department, hold applicable licenses and certifications, and demonstrate patient care skills. This full-time position involves operating MRI scanners, assisting with patient procedures, and maintaining quality assurance standards. The work schedule is Sunday to Wednesday, based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Technical Program in Allied Health is required.
Must be licensed as a General Radiographer, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or Radiation Therapy Technologist (Florida or Compact State).
ARRT-Radiographer or ARDMS Registered and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed.
Minimum of three years in an MRI diagnostic imaging department.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI procedures according to safety protocols.
Assist with patient positioning and ensure comfort during exams.
Conduct daily Quality Assurance (QA) checks on equipment.
Inject contrast media for diagnostic imaging as needed.
Manage patient data efficiently within the hospital's computer system.
