Job summary

MedQuest Imaging in Charleston, SC is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations and ensure patient safety. You will collect patient data, select scanning parameters, operate MRI equipment, and administer contrast when required.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration with MRI, active state licensure, CPR certification, and at least 0+ years of experience with MRI, with 2+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program with MRI specialization.
• ARRT registered with advanced MRI credential and active licensure.
• CPR certification is required and CEU obligations must be met.
• Experience numbers: 0+ years in MRI, with 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for MRI exams and ensure comfort and safety.
• Screen for contraindications and immobilize patients as needed.
• Review physician requests to optimize scanning parameters.
• Enter patient data, monitor status, and document results promptly.
• Administer contrast agents per regulations and protocol.
• Maintain equipment and participate in QA activities.
