TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Tennessee is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI and general radiology exams, interview patients, review charts, and assist the radiologist. You will start IVs, ensure patient safety, and operate systems such as Meditech, Synapse, Tele-Radiology, and GE workstations.

Responsibilities include promoting teamwork within the department, following risk mitigation strategies for hazardous medications, and maintaining high quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
• 1 year of post-graduate related experience
• Current registration with ARRT with advanced certification in MRI
• If not MRI registered, obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire
• Current BLS certification upon hire

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI and General Radiology examinations with high quality patient care
• Interview patients and review charts to obtain history and evaluate labs before contrast
• Evaluate patients for contra indicators and assist radiologist as needed
• Scan patients with appropriate equipment and perform ordered exams
• Transport patients and take plain film x-rays as needed
• Participate in PI plan and promote teamwork within the department and hospital
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth, development, assessment and treatment of patients
• Operate Meditech, Synapse, Tele-Radiology system, CD Burner, Power Injector and GE workstation
• Follow risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications
