TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN, is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform MRI and General Radiology exams, interview patients, review charts, and assist radiologists. You will operate a range of imaging systems and contribute to patient safety and quality care.

The role requires ARRT MRI certification, BLS, and 1 year of post-graduate radiology experience, with on-site work at our Springfield hospital. Join a team-focused department within HCA Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• 1 year of post-graduate related experience.
• Current ARRT registration with MRI advanced certification.
• If not MRI registered, must obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification on hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI and General Radiology examinations with high-quality patient care.
• Interview patients and review charts to obtain history and evaluate labs before contrast injections.
• Evaluate patients for contraindicators and assist the radiologist as needed.
• Scan patients with appropriate equipment and perform the ordered exams.
• Operate Meditech, Synapse, Tele-Radiology system, CD Burner, Power Injector, and GE workstation.
• Follow facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications.
