Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Wales, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist for a PRN schedule. You will prepare exam rooms, educate patients about MRI procedures, position patients, inject contrast, and ensure safety and image quality.

Candidates must have ARMRIT or RT(MR) with ARRRT and BLS, 1+ year radiology experience; a High School diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ARMRIT registration or RT(MR) certification required
• ARRT certification with BLS required
• 1+ year radiology/mri experience or MRI training program completed
• Strong patient communication and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and ready for use.
• Position patients accurately for MRI and ensure patient comfort.
• AdministerIV contrast per safety guidelines and monitor for reactions.
• Perform daily QC checks and document results.
• Maintain EMR/PACS documentation and ensure accurate records.
