Job summary

Lakeland Vascular seeks an MRI Technologist to perform a variety of MRI procedures in an outpatient setting, delivering high-quality patient care and excellent service. You will follow radiologist protocols, ensure patient comfort, and maintain patient confidentiality while contributing to a compassionate imaging team.

The candidate will have 2+ years in radiology, an ARRT MRI certification, Florida licensure, and completion of an approved Radiologic Technology course; advanced MRI certification

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Radiology preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification and Florida Department of Health license.
• Advanced MRI certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI procedures following radiologist protocols with limited supervision.
• Enter patient information, protocol, history, referring providers and notes into the system; burn CDs as needed.
• Log injections with dose, date, time, route and response; review labs and calculate GFR when needed.
• Identify patients, maintain confidentiality, ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Stock exam rooms with supplies; maintain equipment and report malfunctions; assist in other modalities as assigned.
• Demonstrate effective communication with staff; promote teamwork and patient-focused care.
• Maintain professional credentials and participate in ongoing education.
