Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist for the night shift to support MRI imaging workflows and patient care. You will prepare exam rooms, educate patients about MRI procedures, and ensure safety while obtaining high-quality images.

The role requires knowledge of MRI procedures and scanners, strong communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment. ARRT or ARMRIT certification and BLS are expected, with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MRI procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to educate patients and families about MRI procedures and risks.
• Familiarity with MRI equipment and immobilization techniques.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and protocols.
• Strong communication with patients and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Educates patients and family about MRI procedures, contrast use, and safety precautions.
• Positions patients accurately and comfortably for high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast material and monitors for adverse reactions.
