Northwestern Medicine in Evanston is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the daytime, full-time team. You will perform MRI scans, ensure patient safety, and maintain image quality using approved protocols.

As part of this role, you will monitor patients during contrast administration, coordinate exam flow, and document results in EPIC and Visage while upholding safety and compliance standards. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program.
• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification within 12 months of hire or 10+ years directly relevant experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains accountability for patient safety throughout the imaging process, including screening, preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality MRI images using approved protocols and professional standards.
• Administers contrast in accordance with policy, including screening, IV access when required, monitoring, and adverse events.
• Safe Operation of MRI equipment and maintains imaging room readiness.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in EPIC and Visage, including exam set-up, image routing, result availability, and charging accuracy.
• Coordinates exam flow and prioritizes time-sensitive studies.
