Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• Appropriate state licensure.
• Proven experience as an X-ray/MRI technician.

Responsibilities

• Operate high field strength MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Position patients for MR scans with immobilization and safety equipment.
• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Perform radiological procedures when not performing MRI.
• Evaluate MR scans for technical quality and label images.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical tasks.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate and train new technologists.
• Support patient comfort and flow during MR procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient flow.
