Job summary

Memorial Healthcare in Hollywood, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policies. You will work within a collaborative team to ensure patient safety, comfort and high-quality imaging.

This role requires ARRT registration, BLS certification, and completion of an accredited imaging program; on-call shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• ARD/ARRT accredited imaging program completed.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
• BLS certification current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Maintains MRI safety per ACR and hospital policy.
• Positions patient and performs MRI exams.
• Selects imaging parameters and ensures image quality.
• Prepares equipment, handles contrast as needed, and monitors patient.
• Educates patient about procedures and safety during imaging.
• Takes on-call shifts as required by the department.
