Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital within Yale New Haven Health System is seeking a Radiology MRI Technologist to perform quality MRI imaging and patient-centred care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program with RT(R) certification and CT license; MR experience preferred. You will collaborate with radiologists, ensure patient safety, and contribute to diagnostic imaging quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience in MRI imaging.
• LICENSURE: RT(R) required, MR preferred; CT State License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of MRI procedures and operates complex MRI equipment.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and safety.
• Accurately documents patient information and charges.
• Keeps current with imaging protocols and advanced MRI techniques.
• Consults with radiologists and participates in patient safety checks.
• Assists in care planning and effective patient communication.
