Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment, acquire high-quality images, and support radiologists and physicians. The role includes training and supervising MRI students and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements include ARRT MRI registry, state licensure (preferred), and BLS. The position focuses on patient care, safety, and collaborative teamwork within the Radiology department.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree/ ARRT accreditation (preferred).
• MRI Registry (ARRT/ARMRIT) required or equivalent.
• BLS certification required at hire for certain Mercy locations.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI system and coils to obtain diagnostic images per protocol.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assists in training and onboarding of new employees and MRI students.
• Maintains quality control and participates in audits and performance improvement.
